The Charlie Elliott
Chapter Director Theo is a member of the Atlanta Astronomy Club and the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers. His interest in the night sky started many years ago as a Boy Scout in his native Holland. When his kids gave him a telescope for Christmas in 2006, his enthusiasm got a new boost and he became a member of the AAC and its CE Chapter. Theo's main interest is in Planetary observation and imaging as well as deep sky objects. He owns a Celestron CPC925 and has been very active learning the tricks of Astro Imaging with a Canon Rebel XTi, a Philips SPC900NC and a DMK 21AU4.AS. |

The Charlie Elliott Chapter Recording Secretary, Ken Poshedly Ken is a member of several astronomy organizations including the Assn of Lunar & Planetary Observers (the ALPO) and the AAC, which he joined in the spring of 1993 and founded the Peach State Star Gaze a year later. He owns a Criterion RV-6 Dynascope (6-in., f/8 Newtonian) and a 12.5-in., f/5.7 Newtonian located in The Justyntime Observatory at his home in Snellville. |

Georgia Tech and a product design consultant in the Atlanta area. |

The Charlie Elliott Chapter Mascot, "Junior" attends almost every chapter meeting and greets each arriving guest. During meetings, Junior can usually be found making the rounds with a wagging tail and a polite request for a scratch on the head, but sometimes he just takes a nap.
