I paid $2350 for the outfit from original owner about 6 months ago - a new system from Losmandy complete with latest Gemini drive was retailing around $3000, with the above accessories. Mount and everything else are in mint condition, kept inside at all times, no dust. Very nice system, no scratches, dents, or dings of any kind. Asking $2150 firm.

1-year old APM 6" Quartz Maksutov-Newtonian OTA. See the APM-US website for
tech information and photos of this exact same scope (taken by original owner, an ACC member).
Scope provides outstanding views, high resolution and excellent planetary/lunar shots.  This was
one of the original scopes sent by APM to Thomas M Back specifications,  for bundling under the
TMB name, but was refused by Back because primary was 152mm instead of contractual 160mm.
I am selling this system, with the above GM8 outfit, in order to  purchase a new fork mount GOTO
scope (Nexstar, LX200, etc).  Telescope is in excellent condition, kept inside, used only 5 or 6 times
total.  There are a couple of streaks in the meniscus coatings caused by inadvertent use of alcohol
during a cleaning process - these are visible looking toward the glass from outside, but are not
visible during viewing and do not seem to have any adverse affects on performance...system includes -

• 152mm aperture
• better then 1/10 wave front ptv quartz optics (certificate included)
• backfocus designed to accomodate 35mm prime focus photography
• 12v cooling fan with controller (a must for cooling a MakNewt)
